Metal cutting accounts for over 60% of all the processes for chip removal and is, at the same time, one of the most difficult operations. The need to increase productivity in these processes and the now wide use of harder and harder materials to be drilled have led to the development of steel alloys to meet the new and more demanding needs. With 20 years of experience in the production of chip removal tools, our Company has developed 9 lines of HSS drill bits, each with its own characteristic, suitable for third millennium industrial, professional and DIY applications.  The demand for competitiveness, which has pushed the cutting parameters to extreme conditions, is combined with an increasing sensitivity to environmental issues that has greatly influenced the way in which products are manufactured and sold. Therefore, while complying with the international directives on pollution, our Company has developed more and more qualified and advanced cutting tools that allow working in safety and drilling deep holes quickly and efficiently: this means a real cost saving for our customers, with a beneficial environmental effect.
The working of sheet metal and other types of materials with small thicknesses is becoming increasingly more important in all professional activities and industries; stainless steel, moreover, is now present in most mechanical constructions. Therefore, the range of our tools for working sheet metal and all related works has evolved to include new cutting geometries, the use of high-speed cobalt steel and new coatings in titanium nitrate and titanium-aluminium nitrate, particularly suitable for cutting very hard materials, with excellent performances.
Complete families of drill bits are also available for removing welding points, even in hard metal and operations that require coating.

Tapping and threading operations play an important role in industrial works and all kinds of professional applications. The same general conditions as those for drilling holes in super-rapid steel also apply to threading tools; due to the complex nature of threading, the range of tappers and dies has been greatly expanded. Threading tools in HSS-G and HSS-CO are available in a much wider range of pitches for each article and with coatings in TiN and TiAlN for more complex works. An entire offer of non-metric threaded fittings was also developed, in particular American and English threaded fittings, while the range of metric threaded fillings is certainly extensive. Useful sets are available complete with all the threading systems in practical wooden or metal boxes, for safe use and easy replacement after use.
